Map
Ortakent (Yahşi) is located at the midpoint of the southern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, about 13 km from Bodrum center. Ortakent is famous for its warm sea, sandy beaches, and mandarin orchards, and it is also one of the most popular holiday resorts where all roads on the Bodrum Peninsula intersect. There used to be two villages here, Yahşi and Ortakent. In 1999, these two villages merged to become a town. Ortakent is renowned for its beaches, with Yahşi Beach and Camel Beach being the two most famous. It also holds Blue Flag status.
